The Sierra Leone Police have charged Abdul Kpaka for the Murder of Sia Fatmata Kamara. He is expected to appear in Court in Freetown today, 28th August, 2024.

Sia’s tragic death has been widely condemned by the public and rights groups who are calling for a speedy investigations and trials of the matter after a postmortem examination showed that she had broken ribs and a damaged spinal cord.

The late Sia will be laid to rest on Sunday 1st September, 2024 after a funeral mass at that Charles Davies Memorial United Methodist Church in Lumley, following a laying out memorial service on Friday 30th August at the Auditorium Freetown City Council.
