A cross-section of the management of the Medipol Global International Health Services has paid a courtesy call on Sierra Leone Ambassador to Türkiye, Her Excellency Francess Virginia Anderson, PhD, and has expressed interest in partnership with the Health Care Sector of the country.
Medipol Global International Health Services is Türkiye’s largest private health investment and university hospital that combines General, Cardiovascular Surgery, Oncology and Dental services.
Medipol University Hospital attracts attention with its modern architecture, intelligent building technology and advanced medical equipment, and bears the distinction of being one of Türkiye’s best hospitals with a new generation of technology. They have become a new reference centre in the health sector in both national and international arenas.
Speaking on behalf of the visiting group, the Head of Marketing and Business Development, Mr. Murat Beltek, said that they are a private health investment company with the highest number of branches in Turkiye, saying that they are structured with advanced technology that provides medical education and conduct clinical research with human participation, with innovations in preventive/curative health services to improve the quality of life of the society.
“Our company attended the Sierra Leone–Türkiye Investment and Trade Seminar in Istanbul on 30th May 2025, we are impressed with the potential business opportunities in Sierra Leone. We want to explore possible partnerships in the Health Sector of your country”, Murat Beltek explained.
On her path, Her Excellency Francess Virginia Anderson, PhD, welcomed the team to the embassy, saying that Sierra Leone is more than ready to receive partnerships not only in the health sector but also in other development programs.
Dr. Anderson emphasised that Sierra Leone is a fully functioning democracy, making it a viable investment environment. He therefore called on Medipol Global International and Health Service to join a host of other Turkish investors who will be going to Sierra Leone in September 2025 for feasibility and a concrete partnership.
“Here in our embassy, we put a premium on credible investors wishing to do business in Sierra Leone, and also to assure that your investment will be transparent, and protected”, Ambassador Anderson assured.
