The National Pastor for the Redeemed Christian Church in Sierra Leone, Pastor Adewole K. Adesina told journalists recently at the church’s mission headquarters at 69 Sanders Street in Freetown on Friday 26th October that the purpose of the visit of its General Overseer, Pastor Adesina Adeboye is to minister at the Holy Ghost Rally tagged Sierra Leone Holy Ghost Rally 2018 organized by the mission in collaboration with the Body of Christ in the country and is designed to embrace all residents in the city and beyond.
The program, he emphasized, will be a refreshing time punctuated with signs and wonders effected by the visitation of the Holy Ghost as the theme suggests: ‘Let The Fire Fall’.
The rally will be held in the main bowl of the National Stadium on Monday 12th November beginning 5pm to 11pm. Pastor E.A. Adeboye and other anointed men of God will be ministering.
Other programs scheduled to take place in between the scheduled dates are as follows:
• Sunday 11th November 2018 – The Feast of Esther will be held at the Bintumani Hotel in Aberdeen at 5.pm. Registration starts at 3pm.This program will be hosted by the wife of the General Overseer, Pastor (Mrs.) Folou Adeboye and will involve the gathering of women who are General Overseers, Heads of Ministries, wives of General Overseers/Prelates/Archbishops/Head of Ministries and women leaders. It is designed to foster interaction for prayers, renewal, growth, development and standing in the gap for their respective churches, ministries and the nation.
• Monday 12th November2018 – Holy Ghost Rally at the main bowl of the National Stadium from 5pm. To 11 pm. This promises to be a night of worship, praise; divine visitation, a night of miracles, signs and wonders. It is the expectation that the Almighty God will visit Sierra Leone with his consuming fire and destroy various problems encountered by his people. Pastor E. A. Adeboye last visited Sierra Leone some 7 years ago and ministered on the theme: ‘Let The Wind Blow’ and testimonies during and after the visit were awesome. However his visit this time is unplanned but divinely arranged and Daddy G.O, as he is fondly called, will be ministering on the theme: ‘Let the Fire Fall.’
• Tuesday 13th November 2018 – Ministers’ Conference. – This will be held at the New Life Ministries International, Miracle City at Ross Road in Freetown at 10 am. This program will be strictly for church ministers.
He encouraged everyone to come to the rally on the 12th November 2018. The Assistant Coordinator for the Body of Christ and the Media Rev. Evangelist Martha Chigozie stressed that this programme is not just about one church, but the whole Body of Christ and the nation of Sierra Leone, adding that the nation will be blessed.
