The newly elected Executive Committee of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has approved the formation of an Ad-Hoc Committee (Transition Team) by Article 34(d) and Article 55 of the SLFA Statutes.
Head of Media and Marketing at SLFA, Ibrahim Kamara, said the purpose of the Committee is to oversee and coordinate a smooth and professional transition process within the SLFA following the recent elections.
The Committee, he went on, will commence work on Friday, August 8, 2025, during which it will work closely with the Executive Committee and relevant stakeholders to ensure a seamless administrative handover.
Members of the Transition Committee include, Dr. Isaac Massaquoi as Chairman, Sirajin Munirr Rollings Kamara as Vice Chairman, George Moore – Member, Isha Bawoh Esq. – Member, Mans Davies – Member, and Tanu Jalloh as Secretary to the Committee.
Ibrahim Kamara concluded that the SLFA President, Babadi Kamara, and his Executive Committee remain committed to transparency, accountability, and inclusive leadership in the management of football affairs in Sierra Leone.
The establishment of the Ad-Hoc Transition Committee is a crucial step in laying a solid foundation for this new administration.
