The Transition Committee of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has announced the successful conclusion of its public sessions with the staff of the Association and other key stakeholders in the football sector.
Chairman of the Transition Committee, Dr Isaac Massaquoi said, “Over the past two weeks, the Committee held open consultations with administrators, technical officials, procurement, finance and representatives from across government and the football community. We also visited the technical center to assess progress”.
These engagements he said provided an opportunity to exchange ideas and gather valuable information that will inform the Committee’s final report, adding that meanwhile, the Executive Committee has approved a one-week extension for the Transition Committee to complete its work.
He said this additional time will allow the Committee to carefully consolidate feedback and will ensure the preparation of a thorough and comprehensive Report, noting further that the final report would be submitted by the end of next week as part of the Committee’s mandate to support improved governance and the continued development of football in Sierra Leone.
