Despite rumors suggesting a possible strike, SLPHA assures that the port is operating without any disruptions. Both import and export activities are continuing smoothly, with vessels arriving on time and cargo handling processes running as usual. The Authority also confirmed that all routine tasks, including goods discharge and delivery, are going forward without any issues.

SLPHA’s management has assured its commitment to providing efficient port services that meet international standards. The authority urges the public to rely on verified information from official sources, rather than spreading unconfirmed rumors that can cause unnecessary confusion or panic.
