The Director General of the Sierra Leone Ports and Harbours Authority (SLPHA), Mr. Yankuba Askia Bio, has signed the 2025 performance contract with the Ministry of Transport and Aviation.
SLPHA has consistently ranked as the top-performing agency in 2023 and 2024, demonstrating its commitment to operational excellence and efficiency. Under Mr. Bio’s leadership, the Authority continues to drive significant reforms aimed at transforming Sierra Leone’s ports into the best in the subregion.
Mr. Bio reaffirmed his dedication to improving port infrastructure, enhancing service delivery, and fostering economic growth through modernized port operations. The signing of the 2025 performance contract further solidifies SLPHA’s commitment to maintaining its leadership in the sector.
