Sierra Leone and Karagumruk SK in Turkey defender, Steven Caulker has expressed delights with his current form for his club after helping them to a two straight win in the Turkish Super League. The former Fenerbahce defender spent a season-long loan with Gaziantep FC before joining his new club Karagumruk SK. “The game I played for the National team in September was my first competition since the summer after the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Nigeria and Guinea-Bissau because I missed preseason,” Steven Caulker said. He furthered that he joined his teammates at Karagumruk late after he signed adding that he is has been working on building his match fitness. Caulker, who scored his first goal for Faith in a 3-0 win over Hatayspor in his third appearance, was pleased with how things are improving. “Since I returned, I have been in the team and it has been good especially with many recent results,” he ended.
