division 3 league season. When he returned home to train with the national team ahead of the Lesotho-Sierra Leone match, he was hale and hearty throughout training and even during the match which was played in an empty Siaka Stevens Stadium. Buya did not report any injury and left the pitch alright. In an interview with AYV, he said he played against Lesotho without any injury and returned to his hotel at Aberdeen without hale and hearty. He lamented however, that the following morning he started feeling pain on his foot and consulted the team physician who checked the area he was feeling pain but found nothing wrong with the foot he was complaining about. According to him, five hours later when it was time for the evening training session the pain increased to an unbearable level on his whole right and he called some family members and explained his condition to them and they took him home to check on what was really going on and they came to the conclusion that it was black magic or witchcraft at work. According to Buya, he was informed that the black magic/witchcraft trap was set for him at his hotel and that the motive of the trap was for him to contract elephantiasis (locally referred to as bigfoot), to disable him from continuing his football career in Europe. The big question is: why would someone use black magic or witchcraft on the young energetic striker who is striving hard to put Sierra Leone on the world football map? Is it because of the Golden Boot? Is it because he is doing well in the Swedish league? Is it out of jealousy? All these questions are left unanswered. But thanks to God he is now back on his feet and doing great!
