“I admired the stakeholders for their brilliant participation. This tells that we’ve done well in terms of capacitating them on football administrative knowledge and management policies”.
She said from the various reports read by stakeholders during the assembly, she came to the conclusion that they have been really trying their best to improve and develop football in their communities and at the same time encouraging kids and youths to play football for their communities as well as putting more effort in their studies.
“One of the main focuses in this year’s assembly is that we really want to try to improve women participation in football.  That is one of our goals we would be working on”.
“The reason for that is because we want our female players to know that they belong to an organization that is well taking care of them. We would also award scholarships to the female players in order for them to be able to develop their educational career”.
She said this will help to improve them more and with education there will be life after football.
“It is not easy to achieve these goals. But I think the stakeholders have developed a lot and they are serving as role models for kids and youths in their various communities,” she said.
Madam Hauerberg noted that if they are to achieve their goals, the stakeholders especially from those from the new communities should work hard. “I am expecting a lot from the stakeholders because they are the backbone of FANT-SL., without them we will find it very difficult to achieve our goals, although sometimes goals set are not achievable due to certain circumstances.”
“But with total support from each and every one of us we can succeed in developing community football for male and female clubs, educate our players, coaches and administrators and also clean our communities through the sanitation programme, “she concluded.
