The President of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Thomas Daddy Brima has confirmed that there will be relegation in the ongoing Premier League.

There have been speculations on social media that teams would not relegate this season because of one reason or the other.

Speaking at this year’s Ordinary Congress at Raddison Blu, the SLFA Boss said: “In the last few days, I have had rumors that there will be no relegation in the Men’s Premier League because my team is fighting relegation.

“I cannot afford to undo the gains my administration has made for selfish reasons. If my team relegates, let them relegate.”

President Brima is the owner of Wilberforce Strikers who sit rock-bottom of the league with 30 points and three games to go.
