First Lady of Sierra Leone, Dr. Fatima Maada Bio will tomorrow serve as Special Guest Speaker at the 9th Annual London Political Summit and Awards 2024, organised by the C&M Centre for Leadership and Good Governance, in collaboration with the Occupation Safety and Health Association.
The Summit will take place from today to 11th October, 224 at the House of Parliament, Westminster Palace, London, with the theme: ‘Fostering Sustainable Peace and Democracy Order: The Visionary Leadership Imperative for Socio-Economic and Gender Equality in Political Governance’.
Dr. Fatima Maada Bio said the Summit is not only timely but deeply resonates with her ongoing efforts toward achieving gender equality and creating sustainable peace in Sierra Leone and across the African continent.
First Lady Fatima Maada Bio, is at the forefront of fighting gender-based violence in Sierra Leone. She actively engaged in a series of gender-empowerment events. Her participation extends her efforts to advance women’s rights and advocate against rape and child marriage, in Sierra Leone.
