The West African Women’s Network has on this year’s International Women’s Day presented the Women in Excellence awards 2021 to the Minister of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Dr. Memunatu Pratt.

The award is in recognition of the Minister’s outstanding contribution to education, tourism and gender empowerment.

West African Women’s Network is an organization that acknowledges and appreciates the role women play in the development of the nation. For the past years, the Minister of Tourism and Cultural Affairs has made tremendous strides in rebranding the tourism sector which has positively repositioned Sierra Leone’s image internationally.

Dr. Memunatu Pratt has also contributed immensely towards human capital development and the empowerment of women, for which she has been recognized nationally and internationally.
