United Sierra Leone Expresses Appreciation

Share

It went on saying: “We had a great attendance with people from all works of life. Some distinguished personalities including the First Lady Mrs Fatima Bio attended the event and we had some amazing moments including appearances by various artists. We had two fantastic hosts: Margret Murray former Miss Sierra Leone and DJ Base of AYV. Everyone loved the moment.

However, we regret the delay caused at the entrance involving some enthusiastic fans hence LAJ was not able to fully participate. Our grave apologies. We appreciate LAJ and his commitment to the United Sierra Leone project.

We are grateful to the First Lady Mrs Fatima Bio for attending and supporting. We are also grateful to Mr. Melron Nicol-Wilson, Ombudsman of Republic of Sierra Leone, Ambassador Anthony Navo CEO AYV Media Empire, Mr. Messeh Leone President of United Sierra Leone Movement.

Special tribute to Steady Bongo, Kao Denero, KME, Artists Unite for Peace, our own Fantacee etc. Thanks to our supporters AYV Media Empire, Africel, Mercury International, Messeh Leone Trust, Artists Unite For Peace, A & C , Leone Entertainment, Frenzy Network Sierra Leone, 98.1 Radio Democracy, Office of the Ombudsman, etc.

We are excited that we have been able to release the United Sierra Leone album. We thank all the artists who contributed to this project: producer Soundboy Richie and Abass Bangura and our legendary artists Steady Bongo, Jimmy B, Kman, Emmerson, Naser Ayoub, Kao Denero, Vida, Succulent, LAJ, Innocent, Fantacee, Star Zee, Sorie Kondi, M2 etc.

As a result of the success of this event, a team affiliated to ECOWAS has approached us to implement this initiative across the country. The United Sierra Leone team will develop an action plan which we will be working to implement to benefit people across the country. Everyone will be updated as things evolve.

We hope you are inspired to continue to work towards a United Sierra Leone- with a more sustainable, prosperous, secure, and fairer future for our country. Footage from the filmed United Sierra Leone Festival will be available shortly on television.”
