Sierra Leone’s Vice President, Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh enjoyed thunderous welcome on a two-day working visit to Guinea-Bissau.
As reported by Global Times, the vice president met with the President of Guinea Bissau Umaro Sissoco Embalo and both statesmen had very fruitful discussions.
After meeting with the President of Guinea-Bissau, the Hon. Vice President Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh also met with the Prime Minister of Guinea-Bissau, Rui Duarte Barros.
At a joint press conference in Bissau, the Hon. Vice President underscored the need to strengthen cooperation between the two countries through technical and cultural exchanges. They also discussed regional security and cooperation.
The Hon. Vice President Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh expressed profound appreciation to the authorities in Guinea-Bissau for the lavish hospitality accorded him and his delegation.
The Hon. Vice President Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh addressed the Sierra Leone community in Guinea Bissau yesterday. He briefed them about progress back home and the efforts the government of President Dr. Julius Maada Bio is making in the full implementation of the Government’s Big 5 Game Changer including the Feed Salone agenda.
The Hon. Vice President knows Guinea-Bissau very well because of his previous supervisory job at the UNOWAS office in Dakar, Senegal which covered Guinea-Bissau.
