Sierra Leone’s Minister of Employment, Labour and Social Security, Mohamed Rahman Swaray was earlier this week in the State of Qatar where he held engagement with his Qatari counterpart.

The Minister’s engagement primarily focused on the implementation of the Agreement on Employment between the two countries as well as other labour-related issues.

While in Doha, Mr. Swaray also explored opportunities for the employment of skilled Sierra Leoneans to work in the State of Qatar in an effort to complement President Dr. Julius Maada Bio’s youth employment agenda.

Honourable Mohamed Rahman Swaray was received by Momodu A. Wurie, the Minister Counsellor/HOC of the Non-Resident Embassy of the Republic of Sierra Leone to the State of Qatar and other Embassy officials.
