Africell Sierra Leone, a leading mobile telecommunications company, awarded a grand prize of NLe150,000 to Amadu Bah, the winner of its quarterly ‘KOPO’ Promotion. The ceremony took place on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Africell’s headquarters and marked the company’s ongoing effort to reward loyal customers through various promotions.

Amadu Bah, a truck driver, was honored with the grand prize during the event. Fatmata Jaria Bah, Africell’s Digital Marketing Officer, highlighted the company’s commitment to giving back to its customers and enhancing their lives through initiatives like the ‘KOPO’ Promotion. This promotion rewards customers with NLe500 daily, NLe5,000 weekly, NLe15,000 monthly, and NLe150,000 quarterly.

“To participate, customers need only top up their phones regularly, which gives them a chance to win daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly prizes. Alternatively, they can dial *4888# to answer trivia questions,” explained Bah.

The ‘KOPO’ Promotion has seen widespread participation, underscoring Africell’s engagement and dedication to customer satisfaction while reinforcing its position as a major player in Sierra Leone’s telecommunications sector.

Abdul Karim Sesay, Africell’s Media Relations Manager, emphasized the company’s role in impacting lives through significant events and rewarding initiatives. He noted Africell’s commitment to creating life-changing opportunities for its customers.
