Sierra Leone’s Chief Minister, Dr. David Moinina Sengeh has said he has tremendous respect for the country’s First Lady, Dr. Fatima Maada Bio.
He was speaking during the Wake Up Sierra Leone morning programme on AYV television yesterday where he said the first lady and himself have the greatest mutual respect and love for each other because, adding that they are both committed to the principles of the Government of Sierra Leone, the Sierra Leone People’s Party and His Excellency President Dr. Julius Maada Bio.
His comment is coming at a time when many people are thinking there is a serious misunderstanding and disagreement between the first lady and the chief minister.
Earlier, a meeting, held at the First Lady’s Office in Goderich, signified a strengthening of ties between key figures in the government and underscored their commitment to working together for the nation’s betterment.
The discussion explored opportunities for collaboration on various initiatives, with particular focus on aligning their efforts to elevate Sierra Leone’s socio-political landscape.
