Mr Bangura told AYV newspaper he resigned because he wants to pursue his career on a different platform.

 “Effective immediately, I will be resigning my post and membership in the party”, he wrote in his resignation letter. “As a man of strong moral conviction, I will be remiss to ignore the path that God has set before me”, the outgoing UDM Founder and Leader wrote.
