Her Excellency Ambassador Joanneke Balfoort, the Netherlands Ambassador to the Russia Federation paid a courtesy call on her counterpart, His Excellency Ambassador Mohamed Yongawo, Sierra Leone’s Ambassador to the Russia Federation, at the Sierra Leone Embassy in Moscow.
Ambassador Yongawo, with his embassy staff, warmly welcomed Ambassador Balfoort upon her arrival. Following exchanges of pleasantries, Ambassador Yongawo highlighted the deep-rooted relations between Sierra Leone and the Netherlands, built on mutual respect and shared values.
He noted that while the two nations may be geographically distant, they are united in their commitment to sustainable development, economic growth, and social progress.
