Sierra Leone’s Minister of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Mrs Nabeela Farida Tunis, during a press conference at the Ministry Conference room on Kingham Road Freetown, shared insights with newsmen on the country’s gains from the 2025 ITB Berlin festival in Germany.
She highlighted the importance of Sierra Leone participation in the International Tourism Berlin, which is the world’s largest Tourism trade fair, where Tour operators, Hotel Owners, Airline Operators and key players in the industry met to discuss and shared ideas on how each of the 178 countries should benefit from that event.
Minister Tunis added that, the Sierra Leone delegation throughout the event worked assiduously to showcase the country’s unique cultural diversity as way of rebranding the image of Country, and that a lot of Tour operators and tourists had shown interest to visit Sierra Leone to consider possible investment.
