Vice President of Sierra Leone, Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh has chaired a meeting of all the twenty-two Local Councils held at the New Freetown City Council Conference Hall in Freetown.
Speaking at the meeting, the Honourable Vice President stated that the meeting was a stocktaking exercise designed to prepare the councils for the roll out of the new administration.
The Vice President used the occasion to highlight the key achievements of the government and the role of the councils in the manifesto commitment of President Bio.
The VP further underlined the importance of the meeting as a platform and opportunity to share experiences and position the councils in the coming years particularly in view of “Revamping the Public Service for Efficient and Effective Management of the state”.
