The 1st accused Abdul Rahman, 2nd accused Osman Kamara and 3rd accused Abubakar Kargbo were denied bail, whiles bail was granted to the 4th accused Alhaji Bah in the sum of eighty million leones in like sum, including two sureties who should be residence in the Western Area of Sierra Leone.

Bail is said to be approved by the Deputy Assistant Master and Registrar.

The accused were charged with the offence of Receiving Stolen Goods Contrary to Section 32 Sub-Section 1 of the Larceny Act of 1916.

In another development, Magistrate Moody has also remanded one Mohamed Alpha Kamara for the offence of Fraudulent Conversion. The particulars of the offence states that the accused converted to his use and benefit six hundred and four eight liters of fuel products entrusted to him by one Foday Koroma for commercial purpose.

Police also alleged that the accused also converted to own use and benefit another five thousand liters of fuel products entrusted to him the same commercial purpose in Kukunah Kambia district all to the total value of sixty eight million, ninety one thousand leones.

The accused person pleaded not guilty to the offence charged following which the presiding magistrate ordered that the accused be relocated to the Male Correctional Centre on Pademba Road Freetown.

Accused Mohamed Kamara had no legal representation and the matter was adjourned to Monday 9th October 2017.
