The particulars of offence state that on Saturday the 2nd of May 2015 along the Portee Market area in the East of the capital, Foday Kalokoh stole a blue bag containing One Hundred and Ten Million, Six Hundred and Forty Thousand Leones which was a property of one Santige Kamara whilst in the custody of one Alie Badara Kamara.
The accused, Faday Kalokoh had earlier confessed to the Prosecution that he used part of the money to purchase a motorbike which was tendered in evidence as exhibit and also lied to the Prosecution that, he gave part of the stolen money to his brother in Magburuka for safe keeping but upon investigation, it was discovered that, the accused was just wasting the court’s time.
