Madam Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr assured that when elected, she will be a Mayor for everyone in Freetown and will ensure a different future is given to the city of Freetown.  She promised bringing her time, resources and energy to help transform the city of Freetown.

She recounted her experiences over the years, particularly during the war period, further looking at her days at the National Ebola Response Centre (NERC) as Director of Planning and other institutions she had served.

On the need for reconciliation, Madam Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr said power comes from God and that those who didn’t make it for symbols should work with the Party to ensure victory.  She also encouraged Party supporters who have not collected their voter identification cards to do so if only the party should win.

Mohamed Kamara, (Med K), in his statement called on supporters to work assiduously and ensure victory.

He also called on supporters of MP symbol aspirants who didn’t make it to not give up but ensure they remain committed to the party. “Forget about the indifferences and work towards victory for the Party” he told Party members.
