Last evening of Thursday 22nd March, 2017 the Empire’s professional technical team headed by its foreign expert Habibul Munzir and local expert Akie Coker left Freetown with truckloads of brand new ultra-modern transmitters and equipments to be installed in the district. Residents will now tune in to Channel 33 and enjoy AYV’s credible, factual and balanced news reporting from its Studios in Freetown and others across the country.

Managing Director of AYV Media Empire, Tony Lungaho told AYV newspaper that the new Studios in Kono will be among nine other classically designed, perfectly coloured and well equipped and furnished Studios situated in the United Kingdom (UK), Freetown, Makeni, Bo and some parts of Kenema cities respectively that would be working collaboratively to provide credible, factual and balanced news reporting.

He said the Kono Studios, like all other Studios across the country would be operated by teams of highly professional and most credible journalists from the News and Current Affairs Department of the Empire.

He said the teams will also be giving live coverage to Sierra Leone’s March 27, 2018 general election runoff, while assuring that the Empire with strong support from its President and CEO, Ambassador Anthony Navo Junior will continue to expand its presence until AYV is enjoyed in all corners of the country and beyond.

The teams according to Tony have been well capacitated with ultra-modern gadgets and equipments to enable them give perfectly coverage to all happenings and also host well experienced analysts to discuss happenings as things unfold. Because AYV nar e Salone sabi.
