Haja Mansaray said that getting a good education is imperative in today’s society in order to help educate students so that they will be able to function in society. She reiterated that the rising use of technology will enhance learning in the future as technology allows students to reach beyond the walls of a classroom and engage in discussions globally.

Haja Mansaray disclosed that she has reduced drastically on her school fees in order to accommodate more students since the school is a private school. She said presently, they are preparing their first batch of students to take the National Primary School Examination next academic year for which they are conducting free classes every Saturday to bring students to speed.

She maintained that the main purpose of conducting the free class after school hours is to help prepare students gain the knowledge and skills so that they will be able to be amongst the school that will score the highest in next academic year NPSE. She maintained that students need to be provided with the necessary skills so that they can learn to become productive citizens. She called on government to support her school which is the first Islamic Private School in Lungi established in 2013 as a Nursery school and has metamorphosed to primary 5.

In his remarks, Head Teacher of the school, Amasa Kanu expressed his determination to contribute in his own way to help the pupils to become more sociable and develop relationships with their peers. He emphasized that education is vital to each student’s life; therefore, by working hard to provide the best instruction possible, it will help train students to become future leaders and will lead to a better life.

Mr. Kanu noted that the future will always depend on teachers providing a high quality education but the role of the teacher may change over the years as technology will be the base where teachers will incorporate this into the classroom. He expressed his hope that the school will be amongst the best school as they prepare to send their first batch of pupils for the National Primary School Examination next academic year.
