This is a tournament, organized annually in Goderich Community at the Peninsular. It was a great final for supporters, fans and the players of both teams battling for the Le2 million star prize and Le1 million for the runners up.

The Goderich community was set over the weekend to host football loving fans all around it neighbors as the Reggae Boys Social Club of the Goodrich community are climaxing their annual inter area football competition. This competition usually brings different areas around the community to participate and it’s assume the biggest competition around the Goderich community.

Junction Stars Football Club of Funkia Park encountered their counterpart Shop Family in the finals of this competition and it was a clash of the titan battle.

Supporters of both team were impressive as the turnout was very much appreciable. According to the organizers, because it’s a six aside competition 16 teams were registered for the competition representing their different areas within the community.

The final was host at the England Ville community Goderich under the distinguish sponsorship of a community youth, Mohamed Musa whose name was ascribe to the trophy.

Prior to the kickoff supporters of both junction star football club and shop family football club were optimistic to clinch the trophy.

In an exclusive interview with a fan of shop family football club, he said they have all it takes to emerge victor as they have the quality players to win the league. He further emphasize that their managers have spend lots of money which makes the players very happy to clinch the trophy .To counter that statement the team manager for junction star football club explain how prepare they are for this final. He continue to say they are well prepare and desperate to clinch the trophy because this is the biggest trophy within the community.

It was a tough encounter as the match saw both team scores with total of 10 goals but unfortunately for  shop family Fc they were defeated by six goal to four (6-4) in favor of junction star football club.

According to Mr. Mohamed Nurudeen Bangura, one of the chief organizer for the competition, he start by thanking all supporters for comporting themselves throughout the competition .He further emphasize that he is very happy now that the league has ended in a peaceful manner especially violence free even though there were lots of challenges but the organizers were very much proactive with the support of Mr. Mohamed musa (chief sponsor)to tackle all the challenges and provide solutions to some. He called on all residents of the Goderich community to maintain peace and order within the community as they have just demonstrated in the league. He promises to increase the star prize base on the support they have from sponsors and call on partners to partner with then and help improve the community.

The team captain for junction stars football club Ebenezer momoh conteh express how happy he is to win the tournament. He express appreciation to his team mate for playing well and work very hard to win the game. In another interview with the team captain of shop family fc Alie Suma aka Tiago,it’s a surprise for them to loss because they have all what it takes to win the competition but their opponent put on a great fight against them and therefore they deserve to win.
