According to Mr. Holland-Cole the total cost of the roads was divided into five categories totaling one billion and two hundred million Leones and funded by the government through the Road Maintenance Fund Administration (RMFA).

Mr. Holland-Cole further disclosed that he received money from the RMFA for the maintenance of the roads, citing that the roads are not only for passage but are also of benefit to the district, city and country economically.

The Chief Executive Officer of Hammer Engineering Limited, Ing. Daniel Kosseh said the Kossoh Town Road is a 1.2 kilometer road that needs improvement. He added that they will be building four culverts to channel water during the rainy season, among other jobs.

He went on to state that the Kossoh Town road is a six months’ project beginning from July to end in December this year; citing that his company will be working harder to complete the road before the six months’ timeline.

“I am a civil engineer and I have undertaken several international projects and this one of course, is for safety and is paramount and we will be involving the locals in the communities we work,” he said.
