She said she as an  advocate, a model and the second runner up at the Miss West Africa in 2018 in Sierra Leone, she is positive that she would win the upcoming Miss Sierra Leone beauty pageant, with the support of her management.

“I was the 2nd runner up at the Miss West Africa Beauty Pageant held at the Radisson Blu Garden on 26th December, 2018.On 3rd of May, 2019, I also participated in the Face of Africa 2019 Modelling competition held in Banjul, The Gambia. And out of 28 models, I was in the top 5 selected for commercial category and the model with the highest votes,” she said.

The single parent raised (Sickle cell warrior) said despite the challenges she was encountering  living with the dreaded disease, she graduated with Bachelor of Science( BSc) in Home Economics and Community Development from the N’jala University in 2017 .

“I decided to participate in the 2019 Miss Sierra Leone Beauty Pageant   because I want to use my voice to impact people around me and I want to be a role model as an advocate. I think Miss Sierra Leone beauty pageant is the platform where I can achieve that dream,” she said.

She added that few months back she volunteered at the Ola During Children Hospital, where she saw children battling with the sickle cell anemia.

She disclosed that she spent part of her life in Banjul, The Gambia, returned to Sierra Leone and attended university.

She said upon her completion of university studies, she started her modelling career and that the Miss Western Area Sierra Leone was her first pageantry she participated in.

She stated that she wanted to use the Miss Sierra Leone Beauty Pageant to tell the world that it was challenging to be raised by a single parent, especially with the type of disease condition she is battling with.
