However, the Managing Director of Daye Voyages Travel Agency Aminatou Diallo has assured Sierra Leoneans that the coming of their agency will curb many of the challenges because flights like Emirates, Tunisair will be flying into the country. She made this disclosure during their official opening in the country at the agency’s office at Regent Road in Freetown.

The establishment of this new travel agency will bring development and help boost the country’s economy, tourism and create job employment for youths.

She added that since their establishment in 2002 they have been offering good services to their clients, citing that they are not only selling tickets to their clients but they follow them all the way to and from their destination.

With lots of people traveling in and out of the country and struggling with ticketing, reservations and baggage claims it is evident that Daye Voyages will be eradicating those challenges.

The agency according to her is coming from neighboring Guinea and that they have been commended for their credibility, disclosing that Guinea is boasting of having Emirates airline flying there because of their agency.

“Because of our sales and procedures other airlines are interested in flying to Guinea, so if we are able to do it in Guinea, I am sure we can do it in Sierra Leone” she assured.

She further called on the people to assist them in boosting their business in order to help the tourism industry in the country, adding that they also have online ticketing platform for people in the region.

She disclosed that they will be selling tickets, doing hotel reservation, ferry transfer, and offering packaging to people that want to go abroad.

With Sierra Leone set to be part of the Africa continental free trade and the hopeful arrival of Fly Emirates and other airlines, some business people during the launch said they are happy and welcomed Daye Voyages to the country.
