Vice President Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh has reiterated President Julius Maada Bio’s commitment to support disaster victims. He stated that the establishment of the National Disaster Management Agency (NDMA) by President Bio and the impact the agency has created demonstrates President Bio’s commitment to support disaster victims.

Vice President Jalloh made the statement during a program organised by NDMA to support fire victims in Madina, Kaffu Bullom chiefdom, Port Loko district on Saturday 2nd October, 2021.

Vice President Jalloh reminded the affected families about the support they have given them since the incident occurred, and assured the victims of Government continue support. 

Vice President Jalloh informed the victims that the NDMA’s intervention was in fulfilment of promise he made during his first visit.

Dr. Jalloh encouraged residents of Kaffu Bullom chiefdom to take good care of government’s infrastructural development projects for the benefit of their communities.

The Vice President had supported the affected families in Madina Town with food stuff before the NDMA intervention.

The support provided by the Government of Sierra Leone through NDMA was finance to enable the fire victims who lost their shops and merchandise to restart their businesses.
