The United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea has sworn-in Mr. Osman Keh Kamara of Sierra Leone and six other esteemed judges, during the 33rd Meeting of States Parties.

Prior to assuming their judicial responsibilities, the newly-elected judges, hailing from Argentina, Japan, South Africa, Poland, Republic of Korea, and Sierra Leone, took a solemn oath pledging to carry out their duties with impartiality and utmost conscientiousness.

The declarations were solemnly made during a special session of the Tribunal.
