Sierra Leone Ambassador to Saudi takes leave of President Bio

The newly appointed Ambassador Extra-Ordinary and Plenipotentiary of Sierra Leone to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed Sheriff Barrie has taken formal leave of President Dr. Julius Maada Bio at State House.

Ambassador Mohammed S. Barrie together with the former Ambassador of Sierra Leone to Türkiye, who is now the newly assigned High Commissioner of Sierra Leone to Ghana, Mohamed Hassan Kaisamba, bade farewell to the President at State House.

His Excellency President Bio urged the envoys to serve well, noting that “their representation is critical for advancing the broad strategic partnerships” Sierra Leone has cultivated over the years with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Ghana.

“You can always count on my close support and guidance, and I wish each of you well,” President Bio assured.

Ambassador Mohammed S. Barrie pledged to represent his country well to further strengthen the ties between the Republic of Sierra Leone and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Ambassador Barrie was accompanied by Alhaji Dr. Alpha Kanu, Presidential Spokesman, Mrs. Frances P. Alghali, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Kandeh Yumkella, Chairman of the Presidential Initiative on Climate Change, Renewable Energy and Food Security, Francis Ben Kaifala Esq, Commissioner of the ACC, the Chief Minister’s PA Mohamed Lamin Turay,  Albert Cole, the Director of Protocol, Jimmy Batilo Songa and Madam Yeama Kasey.
