ACC bids farewell to Human Resource Director on her retirement

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) led by its Commissioner, Francis Ben Kaifala bade farewell to Mrs. Yatta M. Katta, Director of Human Resource, ACC, at her residence Metchem, Goderich, on her retirement and departure from public service.

With a distinguished career spanning over twenty years, Mrs. Katta has been a cornerstone of the ACC, bringing unwavering dedication, professionalism, and leadership to the organization. Her efforts significantly contributed to fostering a culture of integrity and excellence within the Commission.

Speaking at the event, the Commissioner, ACC, Francis Ben Kaifala expressed heartfelt gratitude to Mrs.Katta for her exceptional service to the Commission and her invaluable contributions to the public sector. Mr. Kaifala highlighted her unwavering dedication, leadership, and tireless efforts in building a strong and efficient Human Resource Department at the ACC, which has become a cornerstone of the Commission’s success.

“Mrs. Katta’s commitment to excellence and her passion for nurturing talent have significantly strengthened the Commission’s capacity to achieve its mandate. Her wisdom, professionalism, and integrity have set a standard that will inspire generations to come.” Commissioner averred.

He further commended her ability to foster team-work, innovation, and a positive work culture, stating that her legacy will continue to resonate within the Commission long after her retirement.

On behalf of the entire ACC, Commissioner wished Mrs Katta happiness, health, and fulfillment in this new chapter of her life.

Senior officials and colleagues who were present at the epcoh-making ceremony lauded Mrs. Katta for her remarkable contributions, emphasizing her instrumental role in developing a robust and dynamic human resource framework and architecture at the ACC.

She leaves an indelible mark on the institution which will serve as an inspiration for persons to emulate.

Responding, Mrs. Katta expressed gratitude to the Management and Staff of the Commission for the support and camaraderie she received throughout her tenure, saying, “Serving the ACC and the public has been one of the most fulfilling chapters of my life. I leave with fond memories and a deep sense of pride.”
