At ETU- SL Amphitheater in Kenema:Chief Minister delivers Public Lecture

Chief Minister of Sierra Leone, Dr. David Moinina Sengeh yesterday 27th February, 2025 delivered a public lecture at the Eastern Technical University of Sierra Leone’s Amphitheater in Kenema. 

Registrar of Eastern Technical University, John Juana said public lectures play a crucial role in education, personal development, community engagement and provides a platform for experts to share insights on various topics making specialised knowledge accessible to a broader audience.

He said the public lecture is to encourage continuous education beyond formal schooling, allowing individuals to stay informed and intellectually engaged, thus the reason Dr.David Moinina Sengeh was selected.

He said the chief minister inspired the audience by introducing new perspectives, innovations and ideas that can lead to social or personal change.

The ETU-SL registrar emphasised that the public lecture helped the audience analyze and question different viewpoints, fostering a culture of debate and intellectual curiosity.

Mr. John Juana maintained that the event brought together people from diverse backgrounds and created opportunities for networking and collaboration.

Chief Minister, Dr. David Moinina Sengeh shared his findings with the general public, making academic work more relevant and impactful.

The public lecture was held ahead of the Eastern Technical University of Sierra Leone graduation ceremony slated today28th February, 2025 at the university’s main campus in Kenema.
