Sierra Leone’s Vice President, Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh, has held a bilateral meeting with Ambassador Andreas S. Kakouris, State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus, on the margins of the 4th International Conference on Financing for Development (FFD4) in Sevilla, Spain.
The meeting was part of a series of high-level engagements led by Vice President Juldeh Jalloh, who earlier co-chaired a major roundtable on mobilising domestic public resources alongside the President of Estonia.
During the discussion, both parties explored avenues to strengthen bilateral relations between Sierra Leone and Cyprus, with a focus on development cooperation in key areas such as maritime governance, education, and multilateral engagement through the United Nations.
Vice President Juldeh Jalloh emphasised the importance of building partnerships that can contribute to national development priorities, while Ambassador Kakouris reaffirmed Cyprus’s commitment to deepening cooperation with African states, including Sierra Leone.
