SAAD Group Limited has successfully hosted its maiden Pampa Rice Raffle Draw 2025, rewarding loyal customers under the theme “Enhancing Customer Care.” The initiative, described as the first of its kind by the company, set aside a total of Le1 billion (old Leones).
Held at the company’s headquarters in Freetown, the event drew a large crowd of customers, partners, and community stakeholders. Excitement filled the air as names were randomly selected in a transparent process that kept spectators engaged throughout the afternoon.
The biggest celebration of the day came when Hassan Sesay was announced as the grand prize winner, walking away with Le250 million (old Leones).
Other winners included Aminata Deen, who won a price of 25 million (old Leones) and someone else claimed Le50 million (old Leones) as a consolation cash prize.
Speaking at the event, the Managing Director of SAAD Group Limited, Emad Taleb, highlighted that the raffle is part of the company’s larger vision of building strong customer relationships. “This raffle draw is part of our broader commitment to enhancing customer care and ensuring that loyal customers feel appreciated. We want to make this an annual event, expanding prizes and participation across the country,” he said.
He further noted that SAAD Group, through its Pampa Rice brand, has built a reputation as one of Sierra Leone’s trusted suppliers of affordable and quality food commodities, and the raffle is a way of giving back to the very customers who have kept the brand strong over the years.
Beneficiaries at the event welcomed the initiative. One customer who received a consolation prize remarked: “The timing of this support is very important. With the rising cost of food, even a bag of rice makes a big difference to households.”
As the program came to a close, SAAD Group reaffirmed its pledge to continue prioritizing customer satisfaction through similar initiatives that bring relief and reward to households. Judging by the excitement and enthusiasm witnessed at the maiden edition, the Pampa Rice Raffle Draw is set to become an annual tradition of appreciation and reward for customers across Sierra Leone.
