In a significant move to advance digital education and empower future leaders, ACTB Bank has provided 750 modern laptop computers to the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM), University of Sierra Leone. The official handover ceremony was presided over by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of IPAM, Professor Ezekiel Duramany-Lakkoh, during a press conference held at the college’s Tower Hill campus in Freetown. This landmark event marks the first donation in ACTB Bank’s ambitious new initiative to partner with tertiary institutions across Sierra Leone.
During the ceremony, Professor Lakkoh expressed profound gratitude to ACTB Bank, stating that, “On behalf of the entire IPAM community, I extend our deepest appreciation to ACTB Bank for this transformative gesture. These 750 laptops are not merely devices; they are keys that will unlock vast realms of knowledge and opportunity for our students. Delivering his statement during the press conference, the Chief Executive Officer of ACTB Bank, Mr. David Kamara confirmed that IPAM is the inaugural beneficiary of a broader, multi-institution program. “Our commitment to educational empowerment is just beginning.
