The Sierra Leone Ports and Harbours Authority (SLPHA) has breaking silence and acknowledged the recent statements made on social media regarding the alleged disappearance of a Kush container.
In a press statement, the Management of SLPHA said, “We recognise the importance of transparency and accountability in our operations and appreciate public interest in matters affecting the community. However, we wish to clarify that any inquiries or criticisms directed towards our Authority should be approached with respect and constructive intent. While we value the role of media and citizen engagement, it is crucial that discussions remain factual and focused on the issues at hand, rather than personalising concerns against individuals”.
The statement went on that SLPHA remains committed to addressing legitimate concerns through appropriate channels and will continue to work diligently to provide clarity and uphold the highest standards of service.
