Sierra Leone’s Chief Minister, David Moinina Sengeh, has convened a meeting of the Tripartite Committee scheduled for tomorrow Thursday March 12 to address ongoing political disagreements and issues relating to national cohesion.
The development was disclosed by Hawa Sally Samai, Executive Secretary of the Independent Commission for Peace and National Cohesion (ICPNC).
According to Samai, the meeting is expected to bring together key stakeholders to deliberate on matters affecting political stability, national peace, and unity in the country.
She noted that discussions during the session will focus on resolving outstanding political concerns while also identifying practical steps to strengthen peace and cohesion across Sierra Leone.
The Tripartite Committee was established as part of broader efforts to foster dialogue among political actors and ensure constructive engagement on national governance issues. Officials say the upcoming meeting will play an important role in mapping the way forward and reinforcing commitments to peaceful political engagement.
