The Independent Commission for Peace and National Cohesion (ICPNC) has convened a follow-up dialogue involving representatives of the All People’s Congress (APC) and the National Moral Guarantors to assess progress in implementing the Tripartite Committee Recommendations.
The meeting, held at the Office of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice, formed part of ongoing efforts to strengthen dialogue and sustain the implementation process ahead of the agreed December deadline.
According to the ICPNC, the engagement followed the most recent meeting with the International Moral Guarantors and focused on reviewing progress made on key commitments, timelines, and areas requiring continued collaboration among stakeholders.
Discussions also examined the status of agreed actions under the Tripartite process and reaffirmed the importance of sustained engagement to ensure the successful implementation of the recommendations.
The Commission stated that, in line with its mandate to promote peace, dialogue, and national cohesion, it will continue to engage political actors and other relevant institutions to monitor progress, encourage cooperation, and support the effective implementation of the Tripartite Recommendations.
The meeting underscores ongoing national efforts to strengthen political dialogue and foster consensus as Sierra Leone advances the implementation of the Tripartite Agreement.
