Head Coach of the National Team Under-17, Alhaji Forray in an interview with AYV newspaper said he was not happy with the result of the match. He despite the fact that in football anything can happen and a team can either win or loss, more effort from his ladies would have given the host team a clean win.

“This is first leg of the competition we are going to put our house in order for the second leg in Gambia.” Coach Forray assured.

The Team flew to Freetown on Monday to face their noisy West African neighbours in their quest to qualify for U-17 women world cup in Uruguay next year.

Aminata Camara aka Eto – Captain of National U-17, said before leaving for Freetown they were confident with high spirits, ahead of crucial encounter between two West Africa nations.

Sierra Leone’s Under-17 has returned to Freetown to continue with their usual intensive training for the return leg against Gambia.
