 He highlighted some corrupt practices that are prevalent in the school system, Social Safety Net Programme, the Free Health Care program (FHC) and Chiefdom Administration. Sesay expressed his dissatisfaction over the misuse of school fees subsidy and Girl Child funds by some Head Teachers and Principals which he said contributes negatively to the progress of education in the district. The Senior Public Educator admonished members of Rosenti against hampering the success of FHC in the district. 

 Speaking on the roles of the community people in fighting corruption, ACC Public Education Officer Abdulai Saccoh described the meeting as a show of the Commission’s resolve to spread anti-corruption messages to towns and villages in a bid to free the people from corruption.  The Public Educator stated that corruption is a disease that continues to reinforce untold suffering on the lives of the rural people. He emphasized that the lives of Sierra Leoneans would only improve if they are united to fight the nation’s enemy-corruption.

 Saccoh used the occasion to encourage those involved in corrupt practices to desist and do the right thing. He entreated members of Rosinti community to resist, reject and report all corrupt practices to the ACC. The Public Education Offer assured them of full protection but warned against making false or malicious reports. He further explained the various means of reporting to the ACC and and read out the toll free lines.

 Headman of Rosinti Pa Hassan Kamara heaped praises on the Commission for the good initiative of not only educating them on the ills of corruption but also giving them the opportunity to interact with the ACC. He encouraged the community people to join the Commission in this fight by monitoring the use of state resource and report any corrupt practice.
