The release stated thus: “The public is therefore advised to report any act of threat, extortion, demand or blackmail to the ACC (free phone lines-Airtel 161 or 077-985-985) or the nearest police station”.

By this notice, the Commission wants all and any person (s) engaged in the impersonation of any ACC staff are warned to desist forthwith as it constitutes an offence under section 76 of the Anti-Corruption Act 2008.

The public is reminded that impostors have been prosecuted and convicted in the High Court of Sierra Leone and the Commission will continue to do so, as and when the need arises.

The ACC reassured the general public of its continued commitment to the fight against corruption in Sierra Leone.
