The Acting Auditor General of Sierra Leone, Abdul Aziz has paid courtesy visit to the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

In a meeting with the leadership of the ACC in the Commission’s Conference Room, 3 Gloucester Street, Freetown, the Acting Auditor General outlined a range of issues that would strengthen and broaden the existing partnership and MoU between the two institutions.

Mr. Aziz emphasised on the importance of the partnership to the attainment of the mutually distinctive roles and mandates of the ACC-SL and Audit Service SL in the public sector accountability space.

He spoke on the communication challenges and the need for knowledge sharing and collaboration.

In his submission, ACC Commissioner, Francis Ben Kaifala said he was pleased with the courtesy visit and underscored that it works well for Sierra Leone and Sierra Leoneans when ACC.
