The management of Africell Sierra Leone, led by Chief Executive Officer Shadi Gerjawi, alongside the Chief Executive Officer of Afrimoney Sierra Leone, MartisonObeng-Agyei, has successfully concluded the Digital University Connect and Africell Customer Experience (ACE) Exercise across several tertiary institutions in the country.
The initiative engaged students and lecturers at Fourah Bay College, Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM), University of Management and Technology (UNIMTECH), Milton Margai Technical University, and Freetown Polytechnic.
The exercise provided an opportunity for the companies to interact directly with students and academic staff through educational sessions, customer engagement activities, digital learning opportunities, and promotional giveaways.
According to the companies, the programme was designed to strengthen engagement with young people while promoting digital innovation, financial inclusion, and technology-driven solutions within Sierra Leone’s higher education sector.
Through the initiative, Africell and Afrimoney connected with hundreds of students, providing insights into digital services and empowering participants with knowledge aimed at enhancing their academic and professional development.
Speaking on the successful completion of the exercise, the companies expressed appreciation to the administrations, lecturers, and students of the participating institutions for their support and enthusiastic participation.
