Africell Sierra Leone, in partnership with Afrimoney, has recognised the exceptional contributions of its Media Manager, Abdul Karim Sesay, presenting him with a Certificate of Appreciation as Manager of the Year 2025.
The recognition was conferred on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at the company’s vibrant Annual End-of-Year Staff Party, a gathering that brought together senior management, staff members, and key partners to celebrate excellence and dedication across the organisation.
The award acknowledges Abdul Karim Sesay’s pivotal role in shaping Africell’s media presence throughout the 2025 operational year. His leadership and strategic direction within the Media and Communications Department were credited for enhancing brand visibility, strengthening media relationships, and sustaining positive public engagement for the company.
In his acceptance remarks, Sesay described the honour as a collective achievement rather than a personal victory. He expressed deep appreciation to his colleagues and partners whose collaboration, he said, made the success possible.
He reserved special praise for Africell’s media partners, highlighting their professionalism and consistency in storytelling, which he noted has played a crucial role in reinforcing the company’s image and public confidence in the brand.
“This recognition reflects the strength of teamwork and partnerships that continue to drive our work forward,” he stated, emphasising that the impact achieved was the result of shared commitment and mutual support.
Sesay also thanked Africell’s management for the trust and support extended to him and his team, reaffirming his resolve to pursue excellence, innovation, and stronger stakeholder engagement in the years ahead.
The Africell Annual Staff Party remains a key moment on the company’s calendar, serving as a platform to celebrate performance, reward dedication, and strengthen team spirit, as Africell continues to consolidate its position as a leading telecommunications and digital services provider in Sierra Leone
