The President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Africa Young Voices (AYV) Media Empire, Ambassador Anthony Navo Jnr, has consented to serve as Keynote Speaker at this year’s Kono District Awards of Excellence Achievements Event (KDEA 2019).

The 2nd KDAE scheduled to be held at the prestigious Diamond Lodge Hotel in the Nemikoro chiefdom, Kono district on December 18, 2019, is held to celebrate the life of the late Alhaji M. B. C. Foday and it is proudly sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism and other partners.

The KDEA is set to be a conceptualized annual event in celebrating the lives of Kono indigenes for their tireless efforts in harnessing our human and cultural assets to chart the way for sustainable development.

It empowers the youth to contribute to nation building and advocate for their rights to opportunities to fulfill their potentials.

It also creates a progressive and sustainable economic, political, social achievement that promotes better lives of individuals, communities and chiefdoms development.
