He cited peace as the main reason for the de-amalgamation process by the Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma led government, adding that they want to bring and maintain sanity and freedom to chiefdoms that have been fighting for supremacy over chieftaincy titles.

The minister called on the chiefdoms that are in the waiting list to exercise patience as a consultant will soon visit them to reassess the chiefdoms. He further asked them to halt any negative intension that has the tendency of causing further confusion that will disturb the peace the people are enjoying in their chiefdoms.
